Most Embarrassing Moment Day! Part 1 (Before the exam)

I just arrived at school when Carol called me. When we entered the faculty Mr. Baet (my teacher in MAPEH) called me and asked if I could get the test papers to Mr. Vasquez (my hot, cool and cute teacher in Physics! (My ultimate crush!) Then I went to room 4 to get the test papers. Sir Vasquez said “hindi pa sila tapos eh, geh idadaan ko na lang mamaya”, but what I said was “dadaanan ko na lang po sa faculty niyo mamaya”. Sir Vasquez just nodded. (kapal ng mukha ko!) ü

When I was going to get the test papers, I just stared at him for a second. Oh he’s so cute! Then I realized what my real point of going there. (Test papers! Remember? Stupid me!) Then he said “kunin mo kay Sir Ang”, and then I went to that teacher. He was just staring at me like he didn’t know what the hell am I talking about? Yes I was right, he really didn’t! Sir Ang said “baka kay Sir Gutierrez”. At that moment I think I was going to explode. F*ck that’s really embarrassing! Sir Ang is a math teacher so what the heck was his connection to MAPEH? Then I shyly went to Sir Gutierrez to get the test papers. Then he asked me if I know the name that was written in the paper. Then I was just “opo, kayo po”.

I really don’t know if I just heard wrong or if Sir Vasquez said it intentionally. I was thinking maybe Sir Vasquez was making fun of me. That while I was on a great embarrassment, there he was, laughing!!

Most Embarrassing Moment Day! Part 2 (After the exam)

While I’m taking my exam in Physics (which happens to be the first) I was laughing at what happened and maybe laughing at myself. I was thinking that “at least napapansin na rin pala ako ni Sir! Ahahaha! Well anyway I really like Science more than Science like me because Science doesn’t like me at all! Ahahaha! I really suck a bit in Physics. Just a bit! I mean it!

After I took my exam, I went outside and wishing that Mrs. Loteria (my math teacher and adviser) would ask me to bring our physics test papers to Sir Vasquez. Then Ma’am Loteria saw me and called me! I knew this was gonna happened! Mrs. Loteria said “bigay mo ‘tong mga test papers kay Sir Vasquez tapos sabihin mo pumunta siya dito sa room at isama sina Mrs. De Castro at Mrs. Raymundo. She knows na crush ko si sir that’s why. Then (again) I entered the faculty room. I saw my gift to Sir Vasquez (I was just staring at it) at his table. God there he goes again! He’s wearing a blue Lacoste t-shirt, a maong short, listening to his ipod (I think). Oh he’s so cool! No one’s gonna be cooler than him, the psp on his table and all that stuff. Then I saw Luis Santino’s picture. I was smiling inside. Then suddenly I remembered why I was there. I put the test papers on his bag, on his Transformer black and white bag (he’s such a fan). I told him what Mrs. Loteria asked me to told him. And I did it! Just not the part when Kim said “halatang kinakabahan ka eh”. Because of the overexcitement I talked to him with no even breathing! Then I remembered, dire-diretso yung salita ko kanina, naputol pa nga para makahinga ako ng konti. Haay… I really suck! I’m uncool! I’m stupid! And I’m a looser mother-effer! Shoot!

Most Embarrassing Day! Part 3 (Before the Meeting)

The reason why Mrs. Loteria called for Sir Vasquez and the other teachers to go to our room was because there was gonna be a meeting. Just for them. I was planning to go home that time. Then I think it was my destiny that brought me to go back our classroom. Mrs. Loteria (again) asked me to go to the faculty room and tell Sir Vasquez to go to our classroom now. (Yes!) And get the soft drinks in the fridge. While I was talking to Mrs. Loteria, Sir Vasquez suddenly came! (Yes cheer again!) When he entered the room he was singing! I just don’t know what the hell the song was. Then Mrs. Loteria asked him to eat, he said “nah, I’m full”. (naks englishero!)

After I got the soft drinks, I went back to our room. It was really hard for me to carry them, because I got three bottles while Melanie got two. So I called for help from Marry Ann and Samantha. After we put the bottles at the table Mrs. Loteria told us to get some pizza. Of course we said no! “geh neng kuha kayo” Sir Villanueva replied. Mrs. Loteria kept on offering us then I said “mamaya na lang po pag wala ng tao”. Of course I was kidding! But the bottom line was we still have eaten the pizza.

Anilag Festival!!!

March 08 (Day 1)

It was Saturday evening when we got in Sta. Cruz. After we ate we went outside to take a look around. It was awesome! There are lots of booths to buy souvenirs. I bought necklace with guitar pendant. There are lots of people. We took pictures for remembrance of course. After we had a walk we had to go back where we were staying in. it was late and we had to sleep but I didn’t. I was listening to my ipod, and I think I had only 30 minutes sleep!

March 09 (Day 2)

They woke up us 2am because we were going to dance in a TV show. We got dressed without even eating! Then I had a terrible headache that I was going to puke! Well, that was the “suck part”! I was lying in an ambulance while people were staring at me. Duh! People I just had a headache! Don’t be exaggerated! They were staring at me like I’m going to die! When I feel I little better I went back to the stay in. after I ate I fell asleep. I had the longest sleep because when I woke up they all have taken their bath. We ate our lunch late it was 3pm when we got our lunch.

After we ate we got prepared. We got our make-up, dresses, and everything we needed. And the time came when we have to stay on focused. We were the first contestant. Then we show “that thing” that made us won the mardigras, “the projection”! We have performed well. We have performed four times for every station. Then when we were going back to the stay in we got lost. We don’ know the way. Well that was really fun even though we were tired, starving to death and that entire thing. After we ate our dinner Sir Jayvee gave us time to go outside for the last time. Then the bus came and we have to go home in San Pablo. We slept at our school library.

March 10 (Day 3 the last day)

Then when we woke up there are lots of students outside! Then I saw my crush, Sir Vasquez and I greeted him good morning. Then he smiled! I don’t know why until my classmate said that I still have my blush on! Fuck! That was a disaster, but my blush on was really light for him to see! Then I thought it was not the reason why he smiled, well I’m not really sure if he really smiled. It was just my co-dancer who said that he smiled. That’s a little bit confusing!

After staying in school for I think 1 hour we decided to go home but I promised to go back. Then I sleep, and then eat then I go to school. I was thinking about the gift that I gave to Sir Vasquez on his birthday last March 6. I just left it inside his table and I was wondering if he got it. Then I decided to go to the faculty room and see. Then I saw it on his table! He displayed it on his table! I was so glad that time!

My Prom Night!

My J.S. prom was held from the night of February 20 ‘til the dawn of February 21. I’m senior and this was my last prom! I was wearing my favorite color red and black! I really picked and bought it myself. Well my dress last year sucks! It was a brown dress. I hate the color! I like this prom more than when I was still in junior. A lot of things, not just things but great, astonishing and exciting things happened. First, my section won the Social Dance competition. That’s amazing because we won even though we just practiced it on the day before the prom! The students were stunning that night, of course including me! The guys that have or had a crush on me bravely asked me to dance because I can’t say no. That’s just great. They were not shy at all though I’m not looking at them. It’s so uncomfortable! I was talking to them like nothing just happened. After the sweet dance my classmates will ask me to dance with them on the floor! Oh yeah I really love dancing, partying so wild like no one is watching me. That’s the different side of me. Well, I’m a rocker and as far as I know many rockers don’t dance or don’t know how to dance. They just dance and dance like they are professionals at all though they really suck one thing I like about the rockers! Well, though my feet really hurt I still can’t say no even to the guy that I really don’t want to dance with! Oh and he asked me to dance when it was the last two songs! I don’t want him to be my last dance so I asked my classmate to dance with me. Well one thing about the great things happened was when my teacher asked me to dance! Oh god I would not dare forget that. And the song I think was The Past. I’m not so sure though. He told me that I was the only one whom he danced with which makes me so overwhelm! I had a crush on him and I think I’m starting to have, again! He’s so cute! LOL! I just wish that I could still attend the prom next year! I had a lot of fun! Wish you all have or had the same things happened to me! Bye guys! Again, this is your “gossip-fucking-hard-rocking-girl”.

My Chemical Romance Go '80s For 'Watchmen,' Say No To 'New Moon' Whaaaat?

'A lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit, but I would disagree,' Gerard Way says of 'Twilight' sequel.

By now, everyone is probably aware that My Chemical Romance are fairly gigantic comic book fans.

But if the Eisner Award-winning series penned by frontman Gerard Way or the Halloween-themed Batman strip his brother Mikey wrote weren't proof enough of this, check out Gerard's train of thought for MCR's punked-up take on Bob Dylan's "Desolation Row," which closes out Zack Snyder's upcoming "Watchmen" film:

"We were on the Projekt Revolution [Tour], and I got a call on my phone. Somebody had put Zack through to me, and he was immediately excited. And so we started talking [about the song], and he said, 'Well, what are you thinking?' because originally he said 'Let's just have a 10-minute version that goes through the whole credits.' And I was originally cool with it," Way told MTV News. "But since the story [of 'Watchmen'] takes place in an alternate early '80s, I wanted to make the song a product of that era. And there's a lot of gangs in 'Watchmen,' there's a couple bands [mentioned], like Pale Horse, and you never know what those bands sound like, but I'm assuming it sounds like early '80s punk or late-'70s punk. ... And he said, 'That sounds perfect.' "

And that dedication to "Watchmen" didn't end with MCR's version of the song. When it came time to shoot the "Desolation Row" video, Way and the guys took it one step further, decking themselves out like a skuzzy punk act from the "Watchmen" '80s — complete with deathly pallors and black eyes.

"I just wanted to look pale. Not gothy pale, but, like, sick. I thought a punk band from the early '80s should probably look sick, they should look kind of ill," he laughed. "And the black eye, I figured bands back then got into a lot more fights than they do these days. All those bands like to fight; we don't like to fight."

So, after knocking it out of the park with "Desolation Row," are My Chem looking at a second career (after, you know, being in a rock band) scoring films? Given their former, rather vampirish past, they seem naturals for "Twilight" sequel "New Moon."

"I don't think so," Way said. "We're very choosy. ... There were a few films that we didn't do the song for because it didn't fit. I guess a lot of people would say that a vampire movie would fit, but I would disagree with that these days. Even since Black Parade, I would kind of disagree with that. I don't know if we'd be interested in that."

We've got the biggest exclusives from tomorrow's blockbusters today. Check out MTV's "Spoilers" on Saturday, February 21, at 8 p.m., for a first look at "Watchmen."

My Chemical Romance On Being A 'Comic Book Band'

'These days, everyone's kind of admitting to being a comic nerd,' frontman Gerard Way says.

Last week, when MTV News sat down to talk with My Chemical Romance, we figured we'd get a bit of information about their Dylan cover in the upcoming "Watchmen" film and perhaps a few slivers of their still-being-written new album, and we'd call it a day. Turns out, we couldn't have been more wrong.

My Chem had so much to say that we were able to break the interview down into three pieces. In part one, the guys talked about putting The Black Parade to bed and getting back to basics on their new album. In part two, they got in-depth about their love of "Watchmen" and their decision to cover Bob Dylan. Now, in part three, they're talking about both.

Which is interesting, because whether they're aware of it or not, My Chemical Romance are now seen by many as not just as a rock band, but as a comic book rock band (having two comic-producing brothers in the band and a song in the biggest comic book film of all time tends to have that effect). So, will they be addressing that perception on their new album? Probably not.

"I'm glad you asked about that because these days, everyone's kind of admitting to being a comic nerd or something. Like 'nerdy' is kind of becoming 'cool' for some weird reason, so people will come out of the woodwork to admit that kind of thing," frontman Gerard Way said. "But a lot of people like comics, you know. But I don't think anybody sees us as, like, 'Oh that's a comic book band' ... even if we write or draw them. I never really worried too much about that."

But without comics, where will Way find his lyrical inspiration? He's already said he wants to drop the whole "conceptual" thing for MCR's next album, so where is he finding material these days? From his everyday life — which, if you've been following his updates on My Chem's official site, may not seem that interesting. But to hear Way explain it, being a husband and a father-to-be (Way's wife, Mindless Self Indulgence bassist Lyn-Z, is expecting their first child early this summer) makes him positively bursting with inspiration.

"I think any life experience [is inspiration]. And now that we've had seven or eight months off, and we've had a chance to do some living, I think any kind of experience ... like going to be a dad, for example," he explained, "that's going to be in my head. And I think there's no way that stuff won't affect what you're doing. I think if it doesn't, it's kind of lame."

So are fans prepared for a more, mature My Chemical Romance? Well, don't worry, because whatever Way's going to be singing about, the music is still going to be young, snotty and punky. And — somewhat strangely, given this is MCR we're talking about — fun.

"We want it to be a snapshot, we want it to be visceral. And it's not angry at all, which is fun too," Way said. "It just has this youthful energy to it, and the experience has this youthful energy to it too. And I want to capture that, and be done. You know, 'Let's play.' "

My Chemical Romance Album Won't Be A 'Kitchen Sink' Affair

'I think it's going to get by on its musicianship and its own merits in the songs,' frontman Gerard Way says of less dramatic album.

There was a time, long before the multiplatinum records and the pancake makeup, before the Eisner Award-winning comics or the Dylan cover in the "Watchmen" film, when My Chemical Romance were just another band from New Jersey. They would like very much to get back to that time.

So that's goal number one with their new album — the follow-up to the massively successful, massively ambitious Welcome to the Black Parade— which they're currently writing in Los Angeles. They hope to get back to their roots — to make manic, fast-and-furious, spur-of-the-moment punk. And, above all, to keep it simple.

"When we had just finished Black Parade, I think doing that record made us feel like we could do everything. And so I think the way to top a record that already kind of does everything is to not do everything," MCR frontman Gerard Way smiled. "I don't think this is gonna be a 'kitchen sink' record. I think it's going to get by on its musicianship and its own merits in the songs.

"And every record ... I like to think they're snapshots of what your band is at that moment, and this is really going to be that. I think there's going to be lack of concept, I think it's simply a snapshot, I think it's going to be direct and very honest," he continued. "It's not going to be hiding behind a veil of fiction or uniforms and makeup anymore. ... From the stuff we've been playing so far, just feels very pure. That's the best way to describe it. People who were really big fans of our first record, they'll find things they're really going to love about the new material — and not because we sound like that first record at all, it's because there's a purity to it. There's less happening."

It's a tactic they first learned while recording their version of Dylan's "Desolation Row" for Zack Snyder's upcoming "Watchmen" film: Stop thinking and just get busy rocking.

"From working on 'Desolation Row' ... I think it was very natural. We just kind of did stuff and the song was there. There was no over-thinking," Way explained. "[But, having said that] we're not going to make a retro record at all. It will sound like a modern rock record, but I think we would like to try to redefine that, what that actually means. By saying it sounds like a modern rock record, it'll sound new — I don't think it'll sound like what's on the radio right now."

And to that point, though it may sound like MCR are trying hard to strip away the rather, uh, grandiose leanings of The Black Parade, they've still got the swagger of a band that's moved units and toured the globe. They've been surveying the musical landscape that's appeared in their absence, and they're not very pleased by what they see. Take, for example, the (working) title of one of their new songs: "New Hair, Same Sh--."

"It's about having new hair, but it's the same sh--. That's the concept," Way laughed. "I think the new album is going to be a response to the two years of touring on Parade. A reaction to what's happening right now — everything that we're not a part of — and a response to it."

My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way's Comic To Be Made Into Movie?

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way's comic strip could be made into a film, he has revealed.
The success of the first run of the singer's superhero series "The Umbrella Academy" has led to the title being optioned as part of a deal between publishers Dark Horse and Universal.
Director Alfonso Cuaron has first refusal on the project, but Way told SFX that he is not getting ahead of himself.

He said: "He's the only director who has the material at the moment. If we get the right people in place, it could be really amazing but I'm trying not to think about it too much. I'm keeping my head focussed on the comics.
"I would prefer people to read the comic first as a point of reference before any film comes out. But the first story ('The Apocalypse Suite') is really compact with a beginning, a middle and an end so you could easily make that into a film."
For now, Way is concentrating on the second series, "Dallas", which as previously reported, concerns the assassination of JFK.
"It's more political," he said, "something I've stayed away from in my music and in my comics. It deals with some pretty harsh subjects in American history. It's more relevant than the first series, which was a traditional story about being brought up good or bad.
"It's more violent for sure. The first issue sets the tone and the second and third subsequently become more violent.
"It's largely American. It's tough because we'd built this largely European universe. You don't know where the city they live in is but it's an amalgamation of London, Prague and places like that. So moving into American territory was a risk for us."
The first issue of "Dallas" is published on November 26.
